Chris Lewis-Jones | The Kevin Ryan Community Hero Award

Our resident artist Chris Lewis-Jones was recently announced as the winner of the Kevin Ryan Community Hero Award at The Mighty Creatives Be Mighty Be Creative Awards 2020. Kevin Ryan, who passed away earlier this year, was the inspirational director of Charnwood Arts, a community arts organisation based in Loughborough. The award in his name recognises creative people across the region who have gone the extra mile to help children and young people, their families, and the local community during the COVID-19 crisis.

Chris was nominated for organizing the ‘6 o’clock Saturday Sing-Song’ activities in and around Hedley Villas Park from March to August this year. Many congratulations to Chris!
