Nick Mobbs

Nick Mobbs graduated with an MA in Fine Art Printmaking from the Royal College of Art in 2009. He now lives in Nottingham and teaches at De Montfort University in Leicester. His practice combines photography, digital media and printmaking. His artwork investigates notions of the ‘other’ and our relationship with the ‘wild’.

Nick has exhibited widely across the country. Recent exhibitions include group shows at GLOAM (Sheffield, 2022) and Two Queens (Leicester, 2021) and the two person show Out of the Woods, Leicester Print Workshop (Leicester, 2019). Earlier highlights include New Contemporaries (twice), ARTfutures, the Salon Art Prize, Nottingham Castle Open (Grand Prize winner 2013), the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition (three times) and awards from the Juliet Gomperts Trust and the British Institute.
