Grow Me A Colour
Grow Me A Colour is a long-term programme (2018-present) to develop a dye and pigment garden at Primary. We’ll be working with Primary resident artists and local communities to design, build, grow, and process plants, and learn new skills together.
Throughout the spring, summer, and autumn, we’ll host weekly gardening sessions as an opportunity for anyone to help develop the garden, learn about urban growing, and take plants home. There’ll also be a series of workshops to explore how to work with plants through different creative processes, from preparing and dyeing wool and fabrics, to print-making, environmental recording, and sharing stories of plant cultures.
This programme is kindly supported by Big Lottery Fund.
