Tell Me Something I Don't Know Podcasts
Between May 2020 - present, Primary have been archiving and releasing Tell Me Something I Don't Know recordings as podcasts.
Tell Me Something I Don’t Know is our informal talk series, where an assortment of people speak for 15 minutes each about their hobbies, passions, and interests. These regular events are part of the Making Place programme at Primary, and are co-ordinated by resident artist Rebecca Lee. Anyone and everyone is invited to speak on a subject that interests them, and the whole group shares food together afterwards. See our past and upcoming events here.
The first Tell Me Something I Don't Know took place at The Commoners' Fair in November 2016, a day-long event developed by artist Ian Nesbitt at the close of his Ek-uh-nom-iks residency at Primary. Ek-uh-nom-iks explored timebanking and community-based skillsharing in Nottingham, and Tell Me Something I Don't Know responds to questions asked in that residency: ‘What is it that everyone has that they can share? And how do we share it?'
