A film by Camilla Becket and James Becket.
How did the willful daughter of a Himalayan forest guard become Monsanto’s worst nightmare? The Seeds of Vandana Shiva tells the remarkable life story of Gandhian eco-activist Dr. Vandana Shiva, how she stood up to the corporate Goliaths of industrial agriculture, rose to prominence in the food justice movement, and inspired an international crusade for change.
Join us for a community screening of the film (1 hour 20 minutes) followed by a discussion and refreshments from Small Food Bakery.
This event is hosted in collaboration with Small Food Bakery and UK Grain Lab and takes place as part of the Spring season of Nourishment: a cyclical programme.
Access: This event will take place in Gallery One which has level access from our main entrance. The film will be shown with subtitles in English. Please email admin@weareprimary.org or call 0115 924 4493 regarding access enquiries.
