Workshop: How to Read a Plan

Urban designer Alexandra Chairetaki leads this interactive workshop exploring how communities can engage in the planning process. We’ll look at how to proactively imagine the future of our neighbourhoods, before development is agreed, and how to understand the visual language of urban design and planning applications. Alexandra will lead us through a simple ‘visual dictionary’ game, introducing the signs and symbols used in maps and plans. In this workshop, we’ll focus on local sites in Radford and look at how these have been presented by planners and recent proposals.

This event will be held online via Zoom. Please register here to receive the meeting information.
