MADEYOULOOK and Zethu Maseko will gather at Primary to have a conversation about their art practices. The artists will discuss how they understand the place of nature and land in their work.
Johannesburg based artist collaborative MADEYOULOOK will reflect on the origins and journey of the Ejaradini exhibition and the South African iteration of the Landedness programme. They will explore how collaboration feeds into how they develop a community of practice with others internationally and within more localised ecosystems.
Maseko will share their reflections on Landedness, co-producing a contemporary art commission, and working with an emerging community of Black and South Asian gardeners.
