Join artists, designers, play workers and community workers for conversation about the role of play in public space. This event offers an opportunity for peer-to-peer conversation, sharing experiences from Nottingham and beyond.
During the session, we’ll hear from people working with play in different ways, and reflect on local histories and inspiring national and international projects.
The event is open to anyone interested in the way that play can shape public space, and opens a dialogue on how to centre play and children’s voices in the city.
During the event, we’ll share a light lunch. Please let us know any dietary requirements when booking.
This event is delivered in partnership with Nottingham Contemporary, and takes place during the closing weekend of their Assemble + Schools of Tomorrow: The Place We Imagine exhibition. It connects with the Build Create Play project at Primary.
Limited places, booking essential. Please book here.
This event will take place in The Meeting Room and The Studio at Nottingham Contemporary - both spaces are wheelchair accessible. If you have any questions around access or have specific access requirements accommodate, please get in touch with info@nottinghamcontemporary.org
