Join us for a seed and plant swap! Open to everyone - from keen gardeners to curious beginners. Bring along any extra seeds and seedlings, and swap them for varieties you need. Don’t have anything to swap? You are also welcome to come along and take seeds and plants in exchange for a donation.
10am: Event opens, drop off seeds and plants.
10.30am: SWAP! This will be coordinated to make sure everyone gets the chance to pick the things they want to take home.
11.30am: Join Bethan McIlroy for a round table coffee and chat - learn about seed saving, and share ideas for a community seed library in Nottingham. With a focus on peas and beans, we will also invite you to talk about any varieties you like to grow and cook.
Refreshments available, including coffee and Nigerian bean cakes made by Soul Food Cafe.
Please note, this event will take place outdoors in Primary’s garden area, with cover provided. There is level access through the entrance on Seely Road, and the car park will be open (entrance on Douglas Road). Please contact rebecca@weareprimary.org if you have any questions or access needs.
This event is organised with Nottingham Organic Gardeners, and is the first event in the Spring Season of Nourishment: A cyclical programme.
