From seed to flour to story

This workshop and discussion circle will invite participants to use hand mills to grind seeds into flour, and share recipes and stories from different food cultures. Starting with familiar seeds – including wheat, oats, rice and beans – we will grind and taste staple grains, and share memories and stories they evoke. We will cook a simple recipe together and share food at the end of the session.

You can bring along a seed or recipe that’s special to you, or come along to the workshop and listen to other’s stories. Please let us know when booking how you’d like to take part. Let us know if you have any access needs, including translation.
