PROJECT: Artist Development Case for Support

FEE: £1200 (6 days work total)

Primary is commissioning a researcher / evaluator to develop a Case for Support to support the organisation’s Artist Development Strategy.
Project Outline: The Case for Support will articulate and demonstrate the impact that Primary’s Artist Development Programme has on residents and members as well as artists engaged through our Public Programme and partnership working.
The Case for Support will be used by Primary in approaching potential funders and partners to better evidence the value of our Artist Development Programme. It will make the case for vital future investment of funds and resources necessary to developing a more ambitious, relevant and consistent offer.
Project Delivery: The Case for Support will be developed in conversation with Primary staff, residents and members alongside artists engaged through our Public Programme and partnership working. The researcher / evaluator will collect and present quantitative (incl. demographic) and qualitative data, conducting interviews with creatives whose engagement in Primary’s Artist Development Programme has had a significant and demonstratable impact on their career trajectory.
The project will be managed by Primary’s Artist Development Curator, who will support the researcher / evaluator for the project period. The fee covers 6 days work to be carried out during the project period.
