When: Friday 8 December, 5-6.30PM
Where: Primary, Gallery 1
Booking: Booking required. This workshop is for Primary residents and members, and artists participating in Courses for Dis-Course(s).
Join artist Abbas Zahedi and co-founder of Square Root Soda, Ed Taylor, for a session focused around citrus. The workshop will take the form of a sharing circle, where participants are encouraged to think and write creatively together. You are invited to bring and share your own reflections and texts on citrus as well as recipes using citrus fruit.
During the session we will try a range of citrus fruits provided by Ed and each participant will leave with a citrus drink, finished with a custom label made in the workshop. Abbas will share some examples of his work and writing around lemons. Abbas and Ed frequently collaborate having met through the drinks production business.

Square Root is soda made with ingredients you’d find in your kitchen, not ingredients you can’t even pronounce.
It’s soda made seasonally to keep the fruit the freshest and the taste the tastiest.
It’s soda made from fruit to bottle - never, ever from concentrate.
It’s soda made by soda jerks. And yes that’s a good thing.
So while we’ll never say there’s a wrong way of making soda, we’ll heavily imply it by shouting loudly and proudly.
Square Root is soda made right.
