Like Weeds (Growing) Through Cracks: Land and Un/belonging

A sharing and discussion on reclamation, adaptability and resilience in our relationship to land and its resources. Using Recipes For Resistance as a tool, Raju Rage will share extracts from the publication and exhibition that relate to land and intersectional identity. Those that speak to foraging and farming, edible archives and indigenous ingredients, honouring traditions and adapting and transforming recipes and cultures. This talk will draw on the complex relationship to land through identity, whether through dis/connection to places of origin or through migration and diaspora. We will focus on the ways we organise, create and cultivate trans-nationally. The aim is to nourish networks, share strategies for resistance and learn from each other’s contexts.

We invite you to participate. We do not expect you to share but welcome you to do so where you feel comfortable and it is generative to you.

This event will take place online via Zoom. Book your place here.
