About the workshop: This workshop will provide a flexible introduction to working with objects, materials, animations in Blender, and will be helpful for absolute beginners and those who've used it a few times but got frustrated by the interface. The workshop will be led by artist and Primary resident Bruce Asbestos.
You will need your own laptops / computers with the most recent Blender installed. Blender is free and open source.
Our regular Skillshares are opportunities to learn, meet people, and discuss the resources and skills we can share in our communities. The focus of this Skillshare has been guided by the interests of Primary’s resident and member community.
Bio: Bruce Asbestos’ work draws from a rich history of painting, sculpture, popular culture, folklore and fairy tales. His work frequently mixes everyday objects with high art, fashion, and responds to global pop culture. His interdisciplinary practice combines performance, painting, clothing, social media, video games, curating and many collaborations.
Access: This event will take place in the project space on our 1st floor, this space is not accessible for wheelchair users. Toilet facilities at Primary do not yet include an accessible toilet. Contact colette@weareprimary.org with any questions.
