Work in Common | Summer Residencies 2018
Artists: Libita Clayton, Amir George, Jasleen Kaur, Hardeep Pandhal, Nathalie Wuerth
Work in Common is a series of short residencies that encourage artists to experiment with different ways of working – either testing out a speculative idea, or developing new collaborations. Each artist will use the spaces at Primary to produce and present work to an audience, through screening, rehearsal, performances, workshops and meals.

Events
Join Nathalie Wuerth to collectively explore white noise as the rhythms of housework and reproductive labour, through vocal exercises and listening sessions.
Join artist Jasleen Kaur to cook, share, listen and eat together. Bring along something that you consider to have ‘cultural value’ - an object, piece of text, film, image, or a favourite song or prayer.
Artists and writers Larry Achiampong, Kitty Clark, Sam Keogh, Hardeep Pandhal, and Jamie Sutcliffe discuss the contemporary resonances of Hideo Kojima’s video game franchise Metal Gear Solid.
From the memory, from the archive, from the body underground, Libita Clayton’s ongoing practice of research is momentarily expanded upon and surfaced in this experimental open dialogue.
A short film program featuring the films of Amir George, a filmmaker and curator based in Chicago.
